Civil 3D: Update 2026.1

Civil 3D’s 2026.1 update has been released. Click to find:

As usual, there are lots of fun new things to experiment with. Here are my favourites.

Model Viewer

If you have not yet tried the model view, please do. It is a game changer for viewing surfaces and corridors in 3D. Added to 2026.1 are:

• Interference checking

• Station Tracker

• Transparency

Drainage Analysis

• This was a technical preview for 2026.0. It is now a fully supported feature

• Powered by InfoDrainage

• Create Ponds and Channels

• Analyze all these features at once

Dynamo

• Very much improved documentation and samples

• New nodes

Miscellaneous

• Auto-renumber label tags

• Zoom to and Pan to feature lines

• Feature line multi-function grips to add or remove PIs or Elevation Points
